It’s amazing that Amazon.com doesn’t have a tool for compiling a reading list. I spent a good bit of time looking through different alternatives out there and narrowed it down to GoodReads.com and LibraryThing.com — eventually settling on GoodReads.com. They are really similar except the LibraryThing.com interface is clunkier but it has a recommendation engine that’s nice.
I also added a link to my book list in the side nav and a quick rundown of the current books I’m reading.

Amazon bought Shelfari a couple years ago. I’m not sure what their plans are for it, but I still prefer Goodreads.
Goodreads rocks. I have like over 500 books saved on my lists (the great majority of them unread.)
